Accommodation for the 2017 Caribbean Dermatology Conference will be provided at the Coco Palm Resort in beautiful St. Lucia. Coco Palm is a family owned and run hotel in the centre of Rodney Bay. The French Creole boutique hotel offers 83-rooms in the four story Palm building while the 20 Kreole rooms are on two floors offering amenities one has become accustomed to: rain-shower heads, mini fridges, coffee makers, cordless phones, CD and DVD players and free Wi-Fi access.

There is also a free-form swimming pool and a restaurant where musicians play live on selected nights each week. The Rodney Bay location – a five-minute stroll from St Lucia’s best white-sand Reduit beach – means there are plenty of dining and night-life options nearby. Coco Palm is owned by the Saint Lucian Chastanet family and is managed by Feolla Chastanet with Mr Jean St Rose as General Manager and Mrs Claudine Gilbert as Senior Operations and Head of Reservations.

Room Block Policy

In planning for the 2017 Meeting every effort has been made to secure comfortable cost-effective accommodation at our host hotel, the Coco Palm Resort. The CDA requests that all participants and exhibitors book within the official room block using the link below.

By booking through the official room block you assist us in meeting our obligations to our hotel partner and utilize the rooms we have contracted for your comfort. Without your support, the CDA could face large financial penalties for unused sleeping rooms and make it difficult to secure adequate accommodation for future meetings. Booking at the Coco Palm through another means (a travel-site or a travel-agent for instance) OR booking at an alternate hotel exposes the CDA to this serious risk.

By Booking within the room block you:

  • Allow the CDA to meet its commitments made on your behalf
  • Enjoy accommodation conveniently located steps away from the meeting room
  • Spend more time networking and enjoying the company of your colleagues
  • Save on transportation (Shuttle Service will be provided to the Conference Venue from the Coco Palm)
